Bilston Swimming Club is a long-established competitive swimming club serving Bilston, Darlaston and Wednesbury. We are committed to providing high-quality teaching and coaching in a positive, inclusive environment, helping swimmers of all ages and abilities achieve their full potential.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Swim England Level 2 Teacher or Swim England Level 2 Coach to join our coaching team.
Pay
Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience and qualifications.

The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, structured swimming lessons and coaching sessions that support the development of swimmers from learn-to-swim through to competitive level.
Responsibilities
Deliver structured, engaging swimming lessons and coaching sessions in line with Swim England standards.
Motivate, challenge and inspire swimmers of varying ages and abilities.
Monitor swimmer progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Maintain a safe, positive and professional learning environment.
Work collaboratively with fellow teachers, coaches and club volunteers.
Communicate effectively with swimmers and parents where appropriate.
Promote excellent attendance, discipline and club values.
Essential Requirements
Swim England (ASA) Level 2 Swimming Teacher or Swim England Level 2 Coach qualification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for developing swimmers and encouraging confidence in the water.
Reliable, organised and professional approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a coaching team.
Desirable
Previous experience teaching or coaching within a swimming club or learn-to-swim programme.
Current safeguarding and first aid qualifications (or willingness to maintain them).
Experience working with competitive swimmers.
