Full job description

Elite Mechanics is seeking a qualified motor vehicle technician to join our team on a permanent basis. The role is primarily focused on servicing and maintaining light fleet vehicles across the UK (cars / vans), with a strong focus on inspecting a fleet of modern small minibuses.

This role will be based from Derby (DE24) however will involve travelling nationwide.

We are looking for someone to:
- Have a City & Guilds or similar qualification in motor vehicle repair
- Undertake routine vehicle servicing and maintenance as required
- Be able to work independently
- Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on vehicles
- A clean driving licence is highly desirable (for insurance purposes you will have need to have held a full driving license for at least 3 years)
- Be customer focused in delivering a high quality, reliable service
- Have good communication skills and be able to write clearly and effectively to maintain accurate records and evidence customer interactions
- Maintain a fully stocked and organized service vehicle, ensuring tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Hold a category D1 driving licence, or be willing to work towards obtaining one with company-funded training.

This role will require:
- Occasional nights away from home where a hotel will be provided
- Your own tools
