Banner Contracts is looking for an exceptional Crushing & Screening Supervisor to join our expanding operations.
This is a senior, hands-on position suited to a highly experienced individual with extensive knowledge of crushing and screening equipment. The successful candidate will take ownership of site operations, ensuring plants are configured correctly, production is optimised, equipment is maintained to the highest standard, and teams operate safely and efficiently. The position requires extensive travel and stopping away from home as and when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise crushing and screening operations on customer sites.
- Configure and optimise jaw, cone and impact crushers, screens and conveying equipment to maximise efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor plant performance and continually improve production through correct machine setup and operational best practice.
- Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance alongside engineering teams.
- Diagnose operational issues and implement practical solutions to minimise downtime.
- Lead, motivate and manage site personnel, ensuring high standards of performance and professionalism.
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with customers, Contracts Managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Complete production reporting, inspections and daily site documentation.
- Assist with mobilisation and commissioning of crushing and screening plants across the UK.
About You
- Extensive experience supervising contract crushing and screening operations.
- Expert knowledge of crusher and screener setup, configuration and optimisation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with excellent fault-finding and maintenance planning skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage operational teams.
- Hold recognised Crusher and Screener Operator competency/tickets.
- Hold relevant mobile plant operator tickets (Loading Shovel, Excavator, ADT, Dozer or similar).
- Excellent understanding of aggregate production and material processing.
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- MPQC, CPCS, NPORS, IOSH or equivalent qualifications are highly desirable.

Pay: £45,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
