Job Title: Instructor Demonstrator Assessor in Makeup Artistry (Hourly Paid)

Salary: £23.71 per hour including holiday pay (£21.16 per hour + £2.55 holiday pay per hour)

The Role
We are seeking a passionate and industry experienced Instructor Demonstrator Assessor (IDA) in Makeup Artistry to join our dynamic Service Industries team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of high-quality, competence-based training within a creative and commercially focused environment. You will play a key role in developing learners' practical skills, professional behaviours, and industry knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in makeup artistry and the wider service industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Instruct, train, demonstrate and assess students on competence-based and skills-based learning programmes
- Support individual students/trainees in the development of their learning plans to help them achieve their aims and meet externally set standards
- Maintain safe working practices at all times
- Demonstrate an active commitment to the College's Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality Frameworks, and Health and Safety procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant vocational area
- Qualified teacher and IFL registered, or willing to begin a teaching qualification upon appointment
- Assessor Award, or willingness to work towards within an agreed timescale
- Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Experience
- Teaching and/or training experience
Knowledge and Skills
- Up-to-date subject knowledge
- Relevant industry experience
- Strong communication skills with a range of trainees, learners, and staff
- Commitment to undertake mandatory training relevant to the role
