Active Future Teesside is expanding, and we’re looking for passionate and energetic coaches to join our growing team. We are particularly interested in people available to work during the summer holidays on our holiday camps across Stockton and Middlesbrough.
Active Future is one of the UK’s largest activity providers. We deliver high-quality sport and physical activity programmes across schools, communities, councils and charities, helping people of all ages to get active and stay active.
What We Deliver
- Our programmes include:
- Primary school PE lessons
- After-school clubs
- Community futsal and NERF clubs
- School holiday camps
- Funded community projects (reducing anti-social behaviour, increasing elderly activity, supporting SEND participation)
- Birthday parties and enrichment days
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
Who We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Minimum Level 1 NGB coaching qualification (or equivalent, e.g. Level 1 Football Coaching, Level 3 Teaching Assistant)
- Ability to travel to venues across Stockton and surrounding areas
- Availability during school holidays
Desirable (but not essential)
- Experience delivering school holiday sports camps
- Availability for after-school clubs during term time
- Experience delivering PE in primary schools
- Experience working with SEND participants
The Opportunity
- Part-time, self-employed role
- Minimum 16 hours per week available during school holidays
- Term-time hours dependent on your availability
- Competitive hourly rate (£15-20/hour dependent on role and experience)
