Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, food safety, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees and teas, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
Serve customers efficiently at the counter or via takeaway service, maintaining excellent customer relations.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change and sales totals.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices is essential.
Ability to serve customers courteously with excellent communication skills.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities to prioritise tasks during peak hours.
A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills are crucial for success in this role.
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends or busy periods may be required. This position offers an engaging work environment where your enthusiasm and dedication will be valued as part of our team committed to delivering outstanding service.

Pay: £12.21-£16.81 per hour
