Ebsford are an environmental contractor who specialise in restoring and improving the natural landscape. Our operations teams work throughout the UK delivering amazing projects in some stunning locations as well as some challenging conditions.
We are proud to be creating new habitats, improving aquatic environments as well as invasive plant management, biodiversity and blue green infrastructure that protect wildlife and enhance public spaces that our communities rely on.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to play your part in our desire to enhance, restore and replenish our natural habitats by delivering professional, cost effective and eco-friendly project solutions on a national basis.
We are looking for an agile and flexible fitter who can maintain, repair, inspect, and manage company plant and equipment, ensuring maximum operational availability, safety, legal compliance, and efficient support of business operations.
What we need from you…
- Organising materials and staff pre commencement onsite

Oversee site set up and edit project plans where needed
- Provide technical support and guidance when required

Provide support to the Project Delivery Managers on pricing and methodologies on clearance projects

Supporting multiple sites on a weekly basis, working away from home where required
-
Supervise, work with and manage direct workforce, agency operatives, sub-contractors and other on-site activities and highlight any site issues to management

Ensure regular maintenance checks on all equipment is documented and any defects reported to plant manager

To complete all SHEQ procedural paperwork as required for each project as part of the projects Health & Safety files

Assist with the herbicidal spraying when required

To assist Site/Senior Site Managers with project delivery

Contribute to company learning & continual improvements in delivering projects

Comply with the requirement of the companys Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems by compiling, handling & communicating required information

Ensuring a high standard of work is carried out on sites

Maintain an awareness of costs and be able to identify if savings are possible through efficiency and innovative ways of working

To deliver projects on time, highlighting to the Project Delivery Manager any delays and offer solutions to potential downtime and report back any project concerns to as soon as they arise

Any other ad hoc duties as required by your Line Manager
As we provide a nationwide service, you will be required to work away on a regular basis. We will provide you with a working away allowance, evening meal expenses and a good standard of accommodation arranged for you in advance.

This is a full-time, permanent position with 28 days annual leave, pro rata (inc. Bank Holidays).
