Equans currently has an exciting opportunity for a Typist to join our facilities team on our Metropolitan Police South East London maintenance contract based at Bromley Police Station. This is a permanent full time position working 37.5 hours per week from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- To provide support on the contract by producing typed summaries of taped interviews, transcripts, and typing witness/victim statements.
- To work as part of the overall typing team covering across the contract, where necessary
- Provide general administrative support, as required
- To assist with the preparation of reports and documents
- To ensure delivery of consistently high standards of customer service
- Working 37.5 hours per week from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break.
Who are we looking for?
- Speed and accuracy is essential
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm and educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
- Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Word
- Attention to detail
- Excellent proof-reading skills
- Well organised and able to prioritise a busy workload
- A can do attitude
- Successful applicants will be subject to Metropolitan Police security vetting
