Groundworker – Exeter
Venom Contractors are a Devon-based subcontractor delivering groundworks and civil engineering packages across the South West. We are currently engaged on a large residential development in Exeter and are looking to appoint an experienced Groundworker to support ongoing works on site.
This role will suit an operative with a solid background in residential groundworks, capable of working to programme, maintaining site standards, and contributing to efficient delivery on a busy project.
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Ongoing
Duties will include:
- Drainage works
- Kerbing and edging
- Slabbing and flagging
- Block paving
- Concrete works
- General groundworks and finishing
- Operating plant where required (e.g. dumper)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in groundworks
- Valid CSCS card
- First Aid certificate
- CPCS/NPORS Dumper ticket (desirable)
- Own PPE and basic tools
- Ability to provide references
- Driving licence preferred
This is an ongoing role for a reliable operative able to work to site standards and programme requirements.
