Are you a skilled all-rounder who takes real pride in their work? Do you thrive outdoors, enjoy variety in every working day and want to be part of a team that genuinely values what you do? Leonards Cove Holiday Village is looking for the third member of our maintenance team.
Set on a stunning clifftop within 20 acres of unspoilt Devon countryside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Leonards Cove is a family-run holiday park with a reputation for exceptional standards. Your skills will help keep it that way.
THE ROLE
This is a hands-on, varied position where no two days are the same. As part of a close-knit three-person maintenance team, you'll play a direct role in keeping the park looking immaculate, running safely, and delivering the experience our guests return for year after year.
You will work across the full breadth of park upkeep, including:
▸ General and reactive maintenance — plumbing, minor electrical repairs, joinery, and odd jobs done properly
▸ Keeping accommodation units in top condition: siliconing, fitting, and finishing work to a high standard
▸ Mowing, strimming, weeding, and light landscaping — taking pride in the grounds
▸ Sweeping and maintaining communal outdoor areas
▸ Chopping and managing firewood supplies
▸ Assisting with accommodation changeovers and guest-ready preparation during peak periods
▸ Identifying issues proactively and reporting larger jobs to the team
▸ Working safely and responsibly with tools and equipment at all times
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
▸ Solid hands-on experience in property or site maintenance, you know your way around a toolbox and can work to a neat finish
▸ Good working knowledge across multiple trades: plumbing, carpentry, basic electrics, general repairs
▸ Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
▸ Sharp attention to detail, small things matter here and you'll understand why
▸ A team player who can also work independently and use their own initiative
▸ Flexible and reliable , able to cover alternate weekends and busy seasonal periods
▸ Full UK driving licence — essential
▸ A positive attitude and genuine care about the quality of your work
WHAT WE OFFER
▸ £28,000 – £30,000 per year, based on experience
▸ 40 hours per week, permanent contract
▸ A supportive, friendly team environment where your contribution is recognised
▸ Ferry pass for staff commuting from the Torbay side
▸ Employee discount and free on-site parking
▸ The chance to work in one of Devon's most beautiful coastal settings — every single day
