Full job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented material handler to support production operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for moving, storing and tracking materials and products efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and move materials within the production area.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Ensure accurate documentation of inventory movements.
Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock control.
Keep material storage organised, traceable and compliant with standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of storage areas.
Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or incidents.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to operate manual handing equipment (forklift certification is a plus)
Basic math and computer skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Good communication and teamwork skills

When you are working:

4-day week 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly.

Overtime is available at premium rates of pay.

Why work for us:

Holidays start at 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays) based on 4 day week.
Overtime rates after basic hours are 1.5 of your basic hourly rate.
Overtime rates for Sundays are 2.0 of your basic hourly rate.
