Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Labourer/ Van Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering goods efficiently while assisting with general labouring within an engineering company. The ideal candidate will posses a clean driving licence and the ability to perform heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van to deliver goods to various locations
Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy or bulky goods
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and according to schedule
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
Follow all health and safety regulations during driving and manual handling tasks

Skills

Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong communication skills for liaising with team members and clients
Good organisational skills to manage delivery schedules
Physical fitness and stamina to handle manual labour throughout the shift

Shift Pattern is Monday - Friday 9am - 1pm.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their work, prioritise safety, and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: £12.80 per hour
