Company Overview

We don’t believe a sofa is just a seat. It’s where stories unfold, dogs claim their corners, conversations stretch long into the evening, and Sunday afternoons disappear. It’s the heart of the home. We're looking for Skilled Upholsterers to join our talented team on a full-time permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a piecework environment, with a high attention to detail and a passion for quality upholstery.

Hours: 39 Hours Per Week - Monday - Thursday - 06:30 - 16:30

Overtime available at enhanced rates.

Responsibilities

Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to assemble sofa components.
Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
Use sewing and fabrication skills to ensure upholstery quality.
Lift heavy materials safely to support production needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with safety standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
Follow detailed instructions to ensure each piece meets company standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop

Qualifications

Proven experience with hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or upholstery environment.
Strong sewing and fabrication skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects safely.
Good mechanical knowledge relevant to furniture assembly.
Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Physical stamina for manual work.
