About the Role
We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for the position of Logistics Coordinator.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of our day-to-day logistics operations. You will be responsible for organising deliveries, liaising with customers, suppliers and transport providers, and ensuring goods are moved accurately and on time. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills, with the opportunity to make a real impact on the efficiency and success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries, shipments, and collections.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, hauliers, couriers, and internal teams to arrange transportation.
- Plan and monitor delivery schedules to ensure goods arrive on time.
- Acting quickly resolving customer order queries, errors, amendments and additions to outbound sales orders.
- Process orders and update internal systems with shipment and delivery information.
- Assisting our warehouse and data team with stock management ensuring our system reflects physical warehouse stock holding.
- Investigate delivery discrepancies, damages, and customer queries, escalating issues when necessary.
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, sales, and operations teams to coordinate requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, efficiency, and service levels.
- Provide regular updates and reports on deliveries including PODs, outstanding shipments, and logistics performance.
- Prepare and organise daily driver manifests, ensuring all delivery and collection details are accurate, complete, and clearly communicated to drivers.
- Coordinate and pre-book delivery slots with customers, ensuring drivers have all relevant paperwork and delivery information including any special delivery instructions to support efficient operations and minimise delays
- Supporting Sales Return processes for customer collections, syncing warehouse operations with our planning team and Quality department.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in logistics, transport, supply chain, distribution, or a similar coordination role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using ERP, warehouse, or logistics systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach with a strong focus on customer service.
Desirable
- Experience working with transport providers, freight forwarders, or courier companies.
- Knowledge of UK transport and logistics processes.
- Experience with stock or warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of import/export documentation and procedures.
- Relevant logistics or supply chain qualifications.

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
