Position: Customer Service Clerk
Location: Daventry
Customer: JD Wetherspoons
Shift patterns: 4 on 4 off, Rotational 06:00-18:00 and 10:00 until 22:00
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Join our team at JD Wetherspoon Daventry as a Customer Service Clerk
We're looking for a dependable, customer‑focused individual who takes pride in delivering excellent service. In this key front‑of‑house role, you'll help create a welcoming atmosphere, support smooth daily operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a positive experience.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Ensuring effective communication processes are maintained for both external/internal customers
Process transferring, cancelling, and re‑keying orders accurately and within agreed cut‑off times
Handle customer complaints, claims, part claim credits, and ROI queries in a timely and professional manner
Manage inbound and outbound calls with pubs, transport teams, and internal stakeholders
Work closely with the Shift Manager/ Warehouse, Transport and Stocks
Complete data collections and confirm data collection accuracy
Maintain clear documentation for claims, cage issues, and customer contacts

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Previous Customer Service experience is essential
Previous Operational/Transport experience would be desirable
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong organisational skills, together with the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a demanding environment
Experience of using WMS/tachomaster/Microlise would be desirable
Good IT skills including all microsoft office packages
