GM Services Cornwall is a well-established Electrical and Mechanical contracting company based in Cornwall. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced, motivated, and enthusiastic Plumbing & Heating Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong plumbing and heating knowledge, project management experience, and estimating skills to manage a variety of mechanical projects across Cornwall and Devon.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a range of plumbing and heating projects across Cornwall and Devon.
- Plan and oversee projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
- Lead, develop, and support team members to achieve high performance.
- Survey, estimate, and quote for small works and maintenance projects.
- Produce method statements and risk assessments.
- Attend multiple project sites as required while being primarily office-based.
Requirements
Essential
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating installations.
- Experience working as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer and within a managerial role.
- Estimating experience.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with others.
- Client-facing experience.
- Logical approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Gas industry experience.
- OFTEC experience.
- Experience in a similar role.
Desirable
- Renewable energy experience.
