Full job description

Location: Bude
Hours: Monday to Friday (Overtime available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
Probation: 6-month probation period applies

Key Requirements

Proven experience in vehicle repairs, servicing and maintenance
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship
Reliable, punctual and fully committed to completing work to a high standard
Strong work ethic with a professional and confident approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Strong problem-solving ability and efficiency under pressure

Desirable Qualifications

MOT Tester qualification (advantageous)
Current CPC qualification (advantageous)
Valid MOT licence (preferred)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs, diagnostics, servicing and general mechanical work across a range of vehicles.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repairs on vehicles
Identify faults accurately and complete effective repairs
Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace at all times
Work independently or collaboratively as part of the workshop team
Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Follow all health and safety procedures
