Job Description

We’re looking for a legal support assistant to join our Private Client Team in Telford, supporting people through some of the most important decisions they’ll ever make: planning for their future through wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning.

This is a chance to build a rewarding career where you’ll provide secretarial and administrative support to our lawyers, working closely with clients from their first enquiry through to the completion of their matter. Day to day, you’ll be:

Liaising with existing and prospective clients, often at sensitive and important moments in their lives
Preparing files and documents under supervision
Speaking with clients to handle queries and provide updates
Keeping everything running smoothly with strong organisational skills and attention to detail

No two days are the same in this busy department, so we’re looking for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and takes a real pride in delivering a professional, friendly and confidential service.

You don’t need previous legal experience.

We’ll give you full training; what matters most is your attitude, your organisational skills and your confidence using IT, including Microsoft Word. If you’ve worked in a busy, professional, team-focused environment before this could be just the role for you.
