Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within the pest management industry, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients through effective pest control solutions. The position is paid and requires a proactive approach to customer service and pest eradication.

Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
Implement appropriate treatment plans using approved pesticides and methods
Apply treatments safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety regulations
Educate clients on pest prevention strategies to minimise future infestations
Maintain accurate records of treatments performed and client interactions
Assist in setting up bait stations, traps, and other pest control devices as required
Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and properly stored after use
Follow all company protocols and legal requirements related to pesticide application

Experience

Previous experience in pest control or a related field is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of pests, their behaviours, and control methods is beneficial
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
Valid driving licence preferred, as travel between sites may be required
