Insurance Consultant- Existing Business Team
As an Insurance Consultant in the Existing Business team, you will deliver exceptional service and tailored advice to meet the unique needs of every client. You will be motivated and ambitious, driving retention while achieving income targets. Alongside this, you will manage mid-term adjustments and client queries in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
Salary - £27,000 plus a monthly bonus of up to £300 and a yearly bonus of £1,700
Start date 15/06/2026 or within the next month
Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5pm (45 minute lunch break)

What the role involves
- Deliver individual and team retention targets while meeting service KPIs and workflow standards
- Build and manage strong client relationships through regular phone and email contact
- Provide expert insurance advice to existing clients, identifying and recommending suitable products
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex aspects of policy cover, features, benefits, and options in a simple and confident manner, ensuring clients can make informed decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines
- Handle a variety of complex cases with accuracy and confidence
- Stay informed of company updates to ensure consistent processes and compliant advice
- Adhere to all internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and quality standards
- Become an integral part of the Existing Business team, working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating clearly and professionally with both clients and team members to ensure a seamless, efficient and high-quality service
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in property insurance or a related field is essential
- Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport over the telephone and deliver an excellent client experience
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional emails to clients and insurers
- Commercially aware, with the ability to identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills, to achieve the best results for our clients
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload efficiently while ensuring service levels and deadlines are consistently achieved
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance focused environment
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required
- Positive, proactive attitude with the drive to take on new challenges and contribute to team success
