Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Technician/Collector to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of various types of arcade machines. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

Duties

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs of adjustments
Collaborate with production teams to understand machinery needs and troubleshoot any operational problems
Maintain accurate records or maintenance activities and repairs performed
Take customer calls and assist with machine technical problems over the phone
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Travel to sites to repair machines
Travel to sites to collect income from arcade machines, mostly (but not exclusively) in the summer months

Experience

Proven experience working as a machine technician or in a similar maintenance role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and operational instructions clearly
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude toward maintenance and repairs
Prior experience working in fast-paced manufacturing or processing environments preferred
Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures relevant to industrial operations
Must be able to drive - van provided for travel
