Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable 360 excavator operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a 360-degree excavator to perform various earthmoving and site preparation tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic construction environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with relevant experience to contribute to large-scale projects while ensuring safety and precision on site.
Duties
- Operate a 360-degree excavator to carry out excavation, loading, and grading tasks in accordance with project specifications
- Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure it is in safe working condition, reporting any faults or issues promptly
- Assist with site clearance, trenching, digging foundations, and other earthworks as required
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress regularly
- Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on site and promote a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience operating a 360 excavator in a construction or civil engineering setting
- Mechanical knowledge of excavator components and basic troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with site safety procedures and the ability to work in compliance with health and safety standards
- Experience with commercial driving is desirable but not essential; candidates must hold valid driving licences if required for site access or equipment transport
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day
