Join Our Team as an ALM Analyst at Saffron Building Society!

Are you an analytical thinker with a background in financial services? Saffron Building Society is on the lookout for a dedicated ALM Analyst to support our ALM Manager and Balance Sheet Strategy function. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in our Finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of key analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Balance Sheet Strategy team by delivering accurate management and regulatory reporting.
Ensure precise data transfer and reconciliation to maintain the integrity of our financial information.
Produce ALM analysis to support monthly ALCO reporting, contributing to informed decision-making.
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of regulatory returns, adhering to compliance standards.
Contribute to the development and optimisation of ALM, hedge accounting, and regulatory reporting systems.
Assist in automating standard processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and timeliness to support financial oversight and risk management.

What We’re Looking For:

CIMA/ACCA/ACT/ALMA qualified or desire to study

A strong background in financial services, ideally within a banking environment.
Experience in ALM analysis, risk management, or regulatory reporting.
Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to convey complex information effectively.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
