NHS Urgent Care ServiceJoin Halo Medical as a FREC4 Urgent Care Assistant

Are you a qualified FREC4 looking for your next challenge? Halo Medical is recruiting passionate and professional clinicians to join our growing paramedic-led Nurgent care service based in Chester.

Working on behalf of the NHS, you'll be part of a dedicated team delivering high-quality urgent care across a 7-day service, helping patients receive the right care at the right time.

About the Role

As a FREC4 Urgent Care Assistant, you will support our experienced clinicians in providing safe, compassionate, and effective patient care within a dynamic pre-hospital environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical skills while working alongside highly experienced paramedics in a supportive and professional team.

Our service operates 12-hour shifts across a 7-day service, providing flexibility while ensuring continuity of patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting clinicians in delivering urgent care services
Assessing, monitoring, and caring for patients in community settings.
Assisting with patient assessments, treatments, and safe transportation where required.
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Working collaboratively with NHS partners and multidisciplinary teams.
Delivering compassionate, patient-centred care at all times.
Ensuring vehicles, equipment, and clinical supplies are maintained to the highest standards.

What We're Looking For

Essential requirements include:

FREC Level 4 (First Response Emergency Care Level 4) qualification.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
A caring, compassionate, and patient-focused approach.
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts across a 7-day service.

Desirable:

Blue Light driving qualification.
Previous experience within urgent care, ambulance services, primary care, or NHS healthcare settings.
Additional clinical qualifications or emergency care experience.
