Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing nursery environment. As an Apprentice, you will support the daily activities of the nursery while developing your skills in childcare and early years education.

Duties

Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's development and learning.
Support the management of daily routines, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as necessary.
Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.
Drive initiatives that encourage children's social, emotional, and physical development.
Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills in early childhood education.

Requirements

A genuine interest in working with children and a commitment to their welfare.
Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Ability to manage time effectively and demonstrate leadership qualities when required.
A willingness to learn about early childhood education practices and childcare regulations.
A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
An understanding of nursery settings and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
