Seasonal Production Operative – Artisan Ice Cream
Farm-based production facility | Immediate start, finishing End of September
Full-time | Part-time | Students welcome

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a thriving, family-run farm business producing luxury artisan ice cream. From cow to cone, everything we make is crafted right here on the farm using our own fresh milk.

As demand continues to grow, we’re looking for a Production Operative to join our friendly team for the busy summer period.

This role would suit someone looking for full-time seasonal work, but we are also happy to hear from students or part-time applicants who can work more hours during holiday periods. Please note this is a fixed term position that would end in September

No previous experience is required, full training will be provided.

The Role

Working in our busy ice-cream production facility, you will help produce our range of luxury artisan ice cream and farm-fresh milk products, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, booking-in and storing raw materials
Preparing mixes and producing finished ice cream products by accurately following recipes and processes
Labelling, packaging and boxing finished goods
Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
Cleaning production equipment and work areas
Completing production, cleaning and compliance records
Assisting with preparing orders for deliveries
Transferring and storing finished goods

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
Detail-focused with a high standard of hygiene
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Calm and practical in a busy environment
Willing to learn how to operate production equipment
Flexible and open to new tasks
Physically capable of handling production work
Comfortable completing basic computer tasks

Experience in food production is helpful but not essential.
