Full job description

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced air-conditioning engineer to join our growing air conditioning division. You should have at least 3 years of previous experience in this role and be technically competent and familiar with all types of air conditioning. Refrigeration experience would also be useful. In return, you will become involved with an extremely busy and exciting contractor and part of a growth story that should provide career growth and stimulation.

We design, install, and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration systems, electrical installations, and fire and security systems.

The role

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. You will also be responsible for the effective servicing, diagnosis and repair of customers systems, to cover breakdowns and undertake planned and responsive maintenance and repairs.

Job Location – Based in Burton on Trent and working from here on a daily basis.

Knowledge skills & experience

F-Gas qualifications.
Experienced in all aspects of air conditioning installation and maintenance.
Capable of working to and understanding drawings i.e. Installation, circuit diagrams etc.
Experience in delivering Customer Care and being focused on the support and needs of the client.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
Performance and quality-focused.

Person

Enthusiastic, 'hands-on, can do' approach, willing to pitch in and help out irrespective of the works.

Self-motivated team member with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

The candidate is also required to have the following:

FGas qualification.
Proven track record
Knowledge of a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Own hand tools
