Assistant Commercial Finance Manager (Fixed Term) - Hybrid Working/Derby

37 hours per week - with 2 days per week in the office in Derby

Salary £65,000.00

MHA is offering a great opportunity within the Commercial Finance Team for an Assistant Commercial Finance Manager to join us on a one-year fixed term contract.

This role has been created to provide essential day to day support for our two Commercial Finance Managers during the implementation of new finance systems. Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance you will play a key part in supporting the charity by optimising values-led surplus generation, influencing key organisation decisions and contributing to the annual budgeting process.

We offer a supportive working environment where collaboration and shared success are valued. We are ideally looking for:

A Qualified Accountant with at least 2+ years post qualification experience
A flexible attitude to work and a willingness to get stuck in
An effective communicator with the ability to business partner at all levels in the organisation
A proven track record of providing analysis, insights and financial modelling to influence the decision-making process and support in the delivery of strategic initiatives.
Experienced at interpreting and validating monthly results delivering meaningful commentaries on financial performance and KPIs.
Excellent IT skills with extensive Microsoft Excel experience
