You’ll be the person who brings everything together from preparing legal packs, checking documents, chasing missing information, to ensure cases move in the right direction. You don’t need to be a lawyer, but you do need to be organised, careful with detail and confident working with sensitive information.
If you enjoy structured work, like things to be accurate and complete, and want a role where what you do genuinely matters, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing disrepair disclosure packs in line with the Pre‑Action Protocol
Compiling non‑access packs for EICRs, LGSRs and Stock Condition Surveys
Checking documentation to make sure it’s complete, accurate and follows internal processes
Liaising with internal teams to gather missing records or repairs history
Submitting packs to the Legal team and ensuring everything is correct before it goes
Tracking and monitoring cases, keeping clear notes and chasing updates
Escalating delays or issues to the Disrepair & Intervention Manager
Providing day‑to‑day admin support to help the team run smoothly
You’ll do well in this role if you’re someone who:
Likes things to be organised and accurate
Enjoys working through documents and checking details
Communicates clearly with colleagues, residents and external partners
Can manage several tasks at once without losing track
Is comfortable handling sensitive information
Takes pride in doing things properly and following processes
Works well with others and isn’t afraid to chase or question something when needed
Must haves:
Experience in an administrative or support role, ideally in housing, repairs, compliance or legal
Experience preparing or collating case files or legal packs
Strong attention to detail and confidence checking documents
Understanding of data protection and experience redacting sensitive information
Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience working with internal teams to gather information
Ability to track case progress and provide updates
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident using Word, Excel and Outlook
Nice to haves:
Knowledge of the Pre‑Action Disrepair Protocol
Awareness of housing compliance basics (gas safety, electrical safety, stock condition records)
