Salon Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily salon operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Manage and supervise salon staff
- Schedule appointments and manage the salon's appointment book
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or complaints
- Maintain a clean and organized salon environment
- Order salon supplies and manage inventory
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Train new employees on salon procedures and protocols
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques
Salon Duties: The Hyde Managers will be active technicians in the salon – delivering high quality treatments to our customers (Our Salon Manager work 30% on treatment and 70% of leadership of their team in the salon). General salon duties such as keeping the salon presentable and replenishing stock as needed along with assisting with other duties where necessary including training, front of house and support to the rest of the therapist team. This includes managing the employees on shift to ensure they are performing.
Client Care: Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming clients, understanding their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations. Nurture and build relationships with clients, providing them with experiences that reflect our salon's elegant, sophisticated environment.
Health & Safety: Prioritize the safety of clients during treatments by adhering to proper protocols that prevent any potential harm. Maintain a clean, organized workstation that adheres to our salon's high hygiene standards and the industry's sanitation regulations.
Team Collaboration & Professional Development: Foster a positive, supportive working environment through effective team collaboration and being a leader through example for the team. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices. This also includes providing constructive feedback to employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Salon Manager or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient operation of the salon
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Organizational skills to manage appointments, inventory, and administrative tasks
- Knowledge of salon services, products, and industry trends
- Ability to handle customer complaints or difficult situations with professionalism
- Proficient in using salon management software or booking systems
