Monday 11:30-5:30 (11:00 start for 30min lunch break in the day)
You will provide technical support to staff and students within our animal care department. Being responsible for the daily operation of the learning environment, equipment, and teaching resources, and the supervision of designated learning areas.

To organise daily activities within the learning environment, including the preparation of teaching resources and housekeeping.

To provide assistance to individuals or groups of students within the learning environment. For specific departments this may include work placements and instructing/directing of students.

Monitor and maintain equipment and prepare replacement plans. For Animal Care this includes travel to and from vet appointments.

Clean and maintain working spaces, develop working environment, provide technical support and assistance for projects.

To participate in curriculum area, College, employer/parent functions, meetings and promotional activities as required.

Order and stock take materials and equipment.

Level 3 qualification in the relevant subject area or relevant industry experience

Relevant industrial/subject experience

Experience of following/applying Health & Safety Procedures

Technical qualification in the relevant subject area
