Job Overview
Alexandra Rose Care Home is seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to assist the Home Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with care standards. Previous experience in nursing home or home care settings is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist the Care Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring smooth operational functioning.
Supervise and support care staff, providing leadership and guidance to maintain high standards of personalised resident care.
Oversee the implementation and review of individualised care plans, ensuring they meet residents’ needs and preferences.
Support medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational policies.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies related to health and safety, safeguarding, and quality standards.
Contribute to staff training programmes, fostering professional development within the team.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive resident support.
Monitor residents’ wellbeing closely, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.

Key Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes:

Relevant experience as a Senior Carer or Deputy Manager
A relevant professional Qualification or working towards the Level 5 Adults Health & Social Care, or equivalent
Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to use initiative, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Strong attention to detail with efficient typing and computer skills.
Honest, reliable, flexible, and approachable, with a warm and friendly personality.
Previous supervisory or management experience within a care setting.
Genuine interest in the welfare and wellbeing of residents.

Job Type:

Full time - 40 hrs per week

Pay: £41,000.00 per year
