Finance Manager

ROLE: Finance Manager

Overview: The Finance Manager at Visual Architects is responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's financial health and growth.

DEPARTMENT: Finance

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Budget Management:
Collaborate with department heads to create and manage departmental budgets.
Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost control.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
Present financial information to management, providing insights and recommendations.
Cash Flow Management:
Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital.
Forecast and address potential cash flow issues.
Risk Management:
Identify and assess financial risks.
Implement risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.
Financial Compliance:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee the preparation for audits and coordinate with auditors.
Financial Systems and Processes:
Implement and optimise financial systems and processes.
Streamline financial workflows for efficiency.
Financial Decision Support:
Provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with senior management on financial implications of business decisions.
Tax Planning and Compliance:
Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions.
Team Management:
Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance and support.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
