Full job description

Job Title: CNC Operator

Employment Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Breaks: 15-minute morning break and 30-minute afternoon break

-Please note that only candidates with the required experience will be considered for this position

Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery (Howa and V-Turn) and a range of hydraulic presses, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines (Howa and V-Turn) in accordance with production requirements
Operate a range of hydraulic presses safely and efficiently
Conduct visual inspections of finished components
Use calibrated measuring equipment to ensure products meet required specifications
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times

Skills and Experience

Essential:

Previous experience operating CNC machinery and hydraulic presses, XYZ – 4 Axis Machine
CNC programming knowledge and experience
Perform program offsets and routine machine maintenance, change worn-out tooling, and refill coolants.
Ability to carry out accurate visual inspections
Experience using calibrated measuring equipment
Good attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Pay: £16 per hour (negotiable dependant on experience).

30 days annual leave, including 18 free choice days and UK Bank Holidays.
