Full job description

We are seeking a reliable, organised and responsible Property Assistant to join our team to help organise the refurbishment, management and letting of some properties in Derby city centre during July-September.

This would be an ideal role for a student or someone looking for some flexible work and interested in gaining some experience in the property sector. The role is highly flexible and requires only 12 hours per week.

We need to undertake refurbishments of some properties before letting them out to new tenants.

Your role would be to:

Assist with writing a plan and budget for the refurbishments, including the priority projects
Identify contractors and arrange for them to visit and give quotes for work required
Monitor the work being undertaken and give access to the properties
Arrange for the properties to be furnished
Assist with the marketing of the properties for rent, including managing open days

We are looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, trustworthy, a good communicator and able to organise and oversee a project.

Previous experience in property would be ideal but is not essential as you will be fully supported in the role.
