Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Telesales Team Leader to lead our growing team of 4.
As a Telesales Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the team hits KPIs and deliverables, whilst delivering quality, qualified leads into the field sales team.
You will need operational experience within a similar role and the ability making outbound calls to potential customers, promoting our products and services, and generating sales leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 4 telesales operatives
- Manage against KPIs
- Hit sales targets
- Proactively contact prospective and existing customers by telephone
- Generate and qualify leads for the sales team
- Book appointments and demonstrations for field or senior sales staff
- Follow up warm enquiries and previous quotes
- Identify customer needs and promote relevant products or services
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems
- Achieve and exceed individual sales and call targets
- Handle objections professionally and confidently
- Support marketing campaigns and outbound calling initiatives
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Previous managerial experience in telesales, internal sales, or a call-based sales role
- Confident telephone manner with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- Good IT skills (CRM, email, MS Office)
Desirable:
- B2B sales experience
- Experience working with targets and KPIs
- Knowledge of [industry – e.g. fire safety, security, utilities]
