Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Loft Boarding Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing loft boards efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring safety and quality throughout each project. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction or related trades to develop their skills within a professional environment. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in their workmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

Measure, cut, and install loft boarding products, Loft ladders and associated loft products
Prepare work areas by clearing debris and ensuring safe access to loft spaces
Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete installations
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, or construction-related roles is highly desirable
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
Physical fitness to work in confined spaces and lift heavy materials safely
Relevant certifications or training in construction trades are preferred but not mandatory
