Empire Homes Group is a growing developer-contractor delivering high-quality refurbishments and bespoke residential projects across the Midlands.
We are looking for a **hands-on Working Foreman / Site Lead** to take control of day-to-day site operations, maintain high standards, and help us scale our production arm.
This is a **site-based, delivery-focused role** — not office-based.

### **The Role**
You will be responsible for **running site day-to-day**, ensuring work is completed:
* To the correct standard
* In the correct sequence
* Efficiently and without chaos
You will lead a small team and coordinate subcontractors while maintaining strong quality control throughout.

### **Key Responsibilities**
**Site Management**
* Open and manage site daily
* Set clear tasks for labour and trades
* Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries
* Keep site organised, safe, and productive
**Quality Control (Critical)**
* Inspect work as it progresses
* Maintain high finish standards
* Stop and correct poor workmanship early
* Manage snagging continuously
**Planning & Programme**
* Plan works 2–4 weeks ahead
* Ensure materials and trades are ready
* Avoid delays and clashes
* Keep projects moving to programme
**Team Leadership**
* Manage in-house labour (multi-trade & labourer)
* Maintain discipline and standards on site
* Lead by example
**Reporting**
* Provide short, clear updates to the Director
* Flag issues early (not late)

### **What We’re Looking For**
**Essential:**
* Strong hands-on construction background (10+ years)
* Experience as a foreman / site lead / senior tradesperson
* Excellent eye for detail and finish
* Ability to manage trades and maintain standards
* Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
**Desirable:**
* Experience in residential refurbishments or small developments
* Multi-trade background
* Ability to read drawings and understand specifications
