About ESCO Maritime Solutions

Key responsibilities

Design and develop electronic circuits for high‑integrity applications.
Analyse, model, and evaluate electronic circuit performance.
Generate and refine system‑level and component‑level requirements.
Produce accurate schematic designs and documentation.
Provide guidance on PCB layout and perform layout reviews.
Support a variety of engineering tasks across projects and programmes.
Participate in technical reviews, internal meetings, and customer discussions.
Engage directly with customers to address technical and project-related topics.
Document all work in accordance with internal processes and quality standards.

Qualifications / skills required

Essential

HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
Quick learner with adaptable, flexible working style.
Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes and techniques.
Proficient in analogue and digital circuit design.
Experience with schematic capture and drawing review.
Circuit simulation experience.
Wiring definition and documentation experience.
Understanding of PCB layout supervision and design considerations.
Eligibility to obtain full SC security clearance.

Desirable

Experience with EMC design.
Environmental qualification experience.
Existing SC security clearance.
Experience with Altium Designer.
Defence, aerospace, or other safety‑critical industry background.
Understanding of reliability engineering (MTBF analysis, derating, DFMEA).
