Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Locum Dentist for 4 days (July 21st - 24th) to provide exceptional dental care on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive dental treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining high standards of clinical practice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, utilise advanced dental technologies, and contribute to patient wellbeing in a professional environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments using clinical expertise and medical imaging tools.
Diagnose dental conditions accurately, applying knowledge of anatomy and oral health principles.
Prepare treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures.
Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and other restorative treatments with precision.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards throughout all procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team to optimise patient outcomes and improve service delivery.

Qualifications

Fully qualified Dentist registered with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong understanding of anatomy and medical imaging techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.
Knowledge of current dental practices, infection control procedures, and health & safety regulations.
