Description
At its core, SourceDogg is a procurement platform that helps enterprise and mid-market organisations manage their suppliers, run tendering and buying, store and govern contracts, and drive supplier performance — across the construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, and CPG/food & beverage sectors in Ireland and the UK. But we are much more than procurement software. We deliver business transformation as a service: helping our customers reduce cost, manage and reduce risk, rationalise their supply base, and turn procurement data into decisive action. Now in an accelerated phase of AI-first development, we are embedding intelligence across every part of the procurement lifecycle.
Based in Derry/Londonderry, Northern Ireland, we are a growing company with a collaborative, fast-paced culture where every team member makes a real impact. As we expand and move into new premises, this is an exciting time to join the team. We believe in curiosity, continuous improvement and using technology to solve real business problems.
We are now looking for a Management Systems & Continuous Improvement Lead.
This role will begin by looking inward — identifying automation and process-improvement opportunities across SourceDogg's own internal systems as we scale — and will then extend that same discipline outward to our customers, helping them connect their business objectives to the management systems, processes, and data that deliver measurable, sustained improvement.
The Role
SourceDogg is looking for a Management Systems & Continuous Improvement Lead. The immediate need is internal: mapping and improving SourceDogg's own management systems and processes, and identifying where automation can help us scale. Over time, the role extends outward to help our customers unlock the full strategic value of our platform. This is not a data analyst role, and it is not a product ownership role. It is something more distinctive: a discipline that connects business objectives to management systems, processes, data, and actions — in that order.
We are prioritising data analytics to help customers achieve higher-order business goals. By turning procurement and supplier data into clear, actionable insight, we enable customers to focus on outcomes such as:
Cost Reduction
- Carbon Reduction
- Risk Reduction
- Quality Improvement
- Supply Chain Improvement
- Supplier Development
The person in this role knows business systems deeply and is keen to use modern technology — including AI — to make them work better. The immediate focus is on SourceDogg's own systems: mapping how we work, finding where processes can be streamlined or automated, and implementing those improvements as we scale. The same skills then apply to customer deployments.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Location: Derry/Londonderry / Hybrid
Duties and ResponsibilitiesSystems & Process Design
- Map and document existing management systems and process flows across our internal and external operations, connecting objectives to measurable actions.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and manual steps, and prioritise them for automation or improvement.
- Apply recognised frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent) where relevant.
Automation & Technology
- Look for opportunities to automate and improve existing processes using modern technology, including AI, as we scale our internal and external operations.
- Define what data needs to be captured, what actions should be triggered, and where technology can remove manual effort.
- Configure and improve tooling and systems, working with the product and engineering teams where needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Establish improvement cycles and KPI frameworks to measure the impact of process changes.
- Review performance, identify corrective actions, and drive measurable outcomes over time.
- Build business cases and document improvements to support decision-making and management review.
Customer Insights & Engagement
- Where relevant, translate internal improvements and methods into insights that can inform customer projects.
- Support customer-facing teams with process and systems expertise as opportunities arise.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- Proven experience in business improvement, internal systems management, management consulting, or continuous improvement roles.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and facilitate structured workshops to elicit and define business objectives.
- Strong understanding of management systems thinking (ISO standards, process frameworks, or equivalent).
- Comfortable working across supply chain, procurement, sustainability, or quality functions.
- Analytical thinker who can determine what data is needed to measure an objective — rather than starting with available data.
- Clear, persuasive communicator: equally fluent in a boardroom and in a process-mapping workshop.
Desirable
- Formal qualification or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, ISO auditing, or a recognised management systems standard.
- Experience with B2B SaaS platforms or enterprise software implementation.
- Background in supplier development, supply chain risk, or ESG reporting.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted workflow or decision-support tools.
- Experience writing or contributing to business cases, improvement roadmaps, or management review reports.
