Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Solar Roofer specialising in solar panel installation to join our dynamic install team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing , with the ability to interpret schematics and operate various power and hand tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality installation of solar panels on residential and commercial properties. Applicants should be comfortable with heavy lifting and working at heights, demonstrating safety consciousness and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems suitable for solar panel mounting, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to execute precise installations.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools to prepare surfaces and assemble mounting structures.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as panels, racking systems, and roofing components safely and efficiently.
- Conduct site inspections to assess structural integrity prior to installation work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in roofing, or general construction work is essential.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings related to roofing or solar panel systems is highly desirable.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of construction safety protocols and working at heights is required.
- Experience with heavy lifting tasks in a construction setting is preferred.

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
