Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Baker to join our team (1 year experience minimum required). The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and a commitment to producing high-quality products. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, including breads, cakes, pastries, and cookies. The Baker should also have knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chefor similar role.
Follow recipes and instructions for baking breads, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.
Measure ingredients and mix dough according to instructions.
Monitor the baking process and adjust oven temperatures as needed.
Decorate cakes and pastries with icing and other toppings.
Package finished products for sale or display.
Maintain a clean work area.
Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters.
Understanding of food safety practices.
Experience with cake decoration techniques.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work in early morning shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
