Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes. This role involves overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. The Chef will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming and efficient kitchen environment, delivering outstanding dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production
Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
Manage food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and cleanliness within the kitchen
Oversee menu development and innovate new culinary offerings to enhance customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and ensure team cohesion
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory culinary role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
Experience in menu planning, food production, and service coordination
Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
