Assistant Project / Site Manager - M4 Corridor - Circa £46k + Car + Benefits Package

Due to continued growth, I am now looking to recruit a motivated Assistant Project / Site Supervisor to join the team.

This role supports the successful delivery of projects across the UK, assisting Project Managers with planning, coordination and on-site supervision to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

The company has built on over 50 years of industry expertise to become a worldwide leader in wet stock management. They specialise in delivering mechanical and electrical services and products for hazardous areas, supporting clients across sectors including Defence, Aviation, Rail, Water and Emergency Services.

Their core expertise lies in fuel and chemical management systems, providing end-to-end solutions including consultancy, project management, installation and maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing

Support Project Managers with the planning and delivery of projects
Assist in coordinating site teams and specialist subcontractors
Provide day-to-day site supervision to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently
Help monitor project progress and report updates, milestones and potential issues
Ensure work is carried out in line with company procedures and safety standards
Assist with preparing and reviewing risk assessments, method statements and permits to work
Liaise with customers and site representatives during project delivery
Support the organisation and scheduling of project tasks and resources
Assist with sourcing materials and coordinating deliveries to site
Ensure suppliers and contractors are correctly inducted and compliant with site requirements
Maintain clean, organised and compliant work sites in line with CDM regulations
Ensure project documentation and company systems are completed accurately
Provide technical assistance to engineers and project teams where required

This role involves national travel. While projects will be allocated as close to home as possible, depending on location weekday stays away will be required, with accommodation and meals provided by the company.

What We Are Looking For - Essential

Experience working on technical projects within the same industry e.g. Fuel systems expertise, wet stock management etc - Please do not apply for this role if you do not have the expertise required listed here
Experience supporting project delivery or site supervision
SSSTS or SMSTS qualification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge of CDM regulations and site safety procedures
Experience assisting with risk assessments and method statements
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to coordinate teams and manage multiple tasks
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office
Full UK driving licence
Able to obtain Full Security Clearance
Ability to work on sites across the UK
