Marlborough College is seeking to recruit a Graduate Teaching Assistant focussed on Design or Engineering with the opportunity to assist with Shell (Year 9) pupils sport.

At Marlborough College, Design Technology is continuing its evolution to become Product Design Engineering as we ensure we offer the highest quality of innovative and exciting educational experiences for our pupils. A large part of this role will be in supporting this transition and contributing to the further development of this ambitious initiative.
Marlborough’s vibrant community of Graduate Teaching Assistants are an invaluable part of College life; supporting pupils with activities beyond the classroom. A key element of this rewarding opportunity is involvement within the extensive sports programme offered to pupils. Within this role you will encourage and mentor pupils on and off campus ensuring that their health, safety and welfare are protected.
You will be a Graduate (or recognised alternative) with a specialism directly relevant to design/engineering such as Industrial design, Product design, Design engineering, Furniture design though we are excited to welcome applicants from a broad range of specialisms.
You will bring, and be willing to develop, relevant technical experiences of Sketching, CAD/CAM, Rapid Prototyping, Electronics, Coding, UI/UX, Graphics, Textiles, Research methods or Robotics. As a recent graduate you will have your own areas of design which inspire you and you will use dedicated personal time to progress your own projects as part of the open studio culture that inspires our current pupils.
You will be energetic, enthusiastic, have a natural rapport with young people as well as a genuine interest in, and commitment to, their care and development.
