Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of patrons and premises at a venue in Bath. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, and providing excellent customer service. This role is vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere at our venue, requiring a confident presence and strong organisational skills.

Duties

Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unauthorised access and ensure only authorised individuals enter the premises
Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within and around the venue
Perform regular loss prevention checks to minimise theft or unauthorised removal of property
Enforce venue policies and procedures, including age verification and dress code compliance
Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, de-escalating situations where necessary
Provide first aid assistance in case of medical emergencies until professional help arrives
Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
Assist with crowd control during events to ensure safety and order are upheld

Qualifications

Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
Experience in security roles is highly desirable
Familiarity with CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
First aid certification is mandatory
Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
Physically fit, with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly to incidents
A proactive attitude with strong organisational skills and attention to detail

The contracted hours are 10 per week, however there is a wide scope of work we have available that you will be able to take on extra hours if you wish.
