Our Litigation Department is a busy, well‑established team of ten fee earners supported by experienced staff, handling a broad spectrum of civil litigation work. As part of our continued growth, we are now expanding our employment law offering and are seeking an experienced employment lawyer to help drive this forward.
We are looking for a solicitor or CILEX lawyer with around 3–5 years’ post‑qualification experience in employment law. We will also consider more senior applicants who are keen to broaden their litigation skillset and/or who bring strong business development experience or an existing client following.
This is a growth role with real autonomy. You will take ownership of your caseload and play a key part in developing and expanding our employment practice. Initially, your time will be weighted towards business development, and you will be encouraged to bring ideas, energy and initiative to building new work streams.
The role is based in our Exeter office for at least three days per week, with hybrid working available once probation is complete or you are fully integrated into the team. Travel to other offices will be required for client meetings and marketing activity.
You will be actively involved in the firm’s wider marketing and business development strategy, and we welcome candidates who enjoy building relationships and generating new opportunities.
