Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all related functions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in payroll systems within a dynamic organisation. The ideal applicant will possess strong analytical skills, experience with Sage accounting and payroll software, and a proactive approach to data entry.

Responsibilities

Administer the end-to-end payroll process using systems such as Sage 50 Payroll
Ensure accurate data entry related to employee hours, deductions, and benefits
Manage accounts payable related to payroll expenses, verifying invoices and processing payments
Maintain and update employee records within payroll
Conduct regular analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Collaborate with finance and management teams to ensure seamless payroll operations

Qualifications

Proven experience working with Sage payroll software
Strong knowledge of accounting software and data entry procedures
Familiarity with accounts payable processes
Excellent analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Prior experience in payroll administration is highly desirable
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment

Pay: £15.00-£30.00 per hour
