Complex Support Worker

✨ New Opportunity – Join Us as a Support Worker! ✨

Pay rate: £15.00 per hour- Weekly or Monthly Pay Available!
Shift pattern: 08.00- 20.00 and 20.00-08.00
Hours: 36 hours
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (Manual- due to nature of the role)

We are looking for caring, reliable and confident Night Healthcare Assistant to join a small team supporting an individual who lives at home with their family in Plymouth. This person has Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Complex Clinical Needs- tracheostomy and ventilation care, PEG — and they rely on a consistent team who truly understand them.

This role is focused on providing support in his day-to-day life, helping him maintain a sense of independence while ensuring they can continue to care for their children and engage in family life. As part of this, the support extends outside the home engaging in fun family activities such as soft play, parks and visiting the cinema.

✨What you’ll be doing

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping this individual live safely, comfortably, and in a way that reflects their preferences. Your day might include:

Providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis
Creating opportunities for meaningful activities at home and in the community
Encouraging social interaction and promoting emotional wellbeing
Supporting communication in the way that works best for them
Helping with routine household tasks to maintain a calm, organised environment

Tracheostomy care
Ventilation care
PEG feeding
